Two Funny Signs in India

This sign was on the metal detectors in a subway station. We think they meant firecrackers, but Claire was pretty sad anyway.

I didn't think this was that funny until I imagined seeing a similar sign in the U.S., proclaiming aspirations to overtake some other country.

I actually took a bunch of other pictures of funny signs in India, but since the blogging software that I'm using (ahem, Blogger, owned by Google), is so...great...I haven't been able to upload them into this blog. OH well.
